REIG JOFRE, (BME:RJF),

closed the first half of 2026 with revenue of €168.5 million, up 1% compared with the same period of the previous year, and EBITDA of €17.9 million, representing growth of 27%.

The EBITDA margin improved to 10.7%, reflecting a clear recovery compared with the first half of 2025. This performance was supported by the commercial momentum of prescription solutions in the osteoarticular and dermatology areas, as well as the initial recovery of the antibiotics business.

Consolidated net income reached €3.4 million, up 126% compared with the same period of the previous year, despite higher financial expenses and an asset impairment charge whose recovery is expected during the year as insurance proceeds are collected.

During the second quarter, REIG JOFRE achieved significant milestones across its key business and industrial projects. At the end of June, the company obtained regulatory approval for the new penicillin-based injectable antibiotics production line in Toledo, a project launched in early 2024, and began commercial production. Forté Pharma’s supply chain in France and Belgium was also fully restored, while the performance of dalbavancin, the company’s latest launch of a non-penicillin injectable antibiotic in Europe, continued to gain traction.

Strategic Repositioning of the Antibiotics Business at the Toledo Facility: Technology, Efficiency and Competitiveness to Support Future Growth

REIG JOFRE continues to advance a strategic repositioning of its antibiotics business, aimed at driving profitable and sustainable growth through the optimization of its portfolio and production lines, with operational excellence and quality as competitive advantages.

The new line upgrades the production of injectable beta-lactam antibiotics through state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, greater automation, cost optimization, and technologies aligned with the latest European Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Once operational, it is expected to increase annual production capacity for injectable penicillin-based products by 50% over the coming years, enhance productivity, provide the facility with greater operating flexibility, and strengthen the competitiveness of the supply of essential antibiotics across several European countries.

Following regulatory approval from the health authorities at the end of June, the new antibiotics production line in Toledo began start-up activities and the release of its first batches. The increase in production capacity supported a 16% rise in antibiotics sales in the second quarter compared with the same period of 2025. The new line is expected to make a progressively increasing contribution to sales beginning in the second half of 2026.
